Anti-rights movements are better funded and more coordinated than ever. Humanitarian crises are increasing and becoming more severe, and aid budgets are being cut, putting progress for girls at serious risk. The idea that equality has ‘gone too far’ is gaining ground — and girls are paying the price.

That’s why we’re launching a major new campaign to defend girls’ freedoms, starting with a parliamentary event on 25 February.
